This
is Sierra Rosemary. She is eight weeks old and is a Golden Retriever. We
got her for Christmas. We had a Golden named Barney for thirteen years,
he passed away in Sept of 2001, the same week as the WTC attacks, a
horrible week. We miss him very much and missed having the smiling face
of a Golden around so we adopted little Miss Sierra. She is named Sierra
Rosemary because her Grandmother's name was Sierra and Rosemary because
she likes to roll in the rosemary bush out front, the one she is posing
in front of. She is a wonderful, smart, mischievous bundle of fur. We
are training her to bring in the morning paper, something Barney did
every day of his life for thirteen years, she is a fast learner and
brings in a small part of it that we roll up for her. We are very happy
to have her as a part of the family. Our other dog, Bailey (Black
Lab/Dalmatian) is not too thrilled with her yet, he is tolerant though,
she has way too much energy for his liking.
