This
is my little girl Dakota. She looks very sweet in this photo, but
isn't always this dignified. Since we live in the city, she doesn't get
a chance to herd cattle or sheep. So, she likes to herd people on bikes
or roller blades. She really goes after radio controlled cars!
We go to the dog park a few times a week. She plays really well one on
one. With a larger group, she runs on the outside and tries to make all
the dogs go in the same direction. When she first met Arnie, a very
large Great Dane, she was quite intimidated. Now she has decided he is
large cow and that he needs her to tell him what to do and where to go.
Going to the dog park is always an opportunity for her to go to all the
humans for some attention. She loves to be petted! Dakota is also a very
good watch dog! No human or squirrel can pass too close with her
notifying me (and my neighbors)! She is my sweetie and I love her!
