My
dog Sandy is the light of my life. I adopted her from the local
shelter eight years ago and the joy she has brought to my life can't be
expressed in words. I have wanted a dog since I was five years old and
finally, 37 years later, my dreams came true.
Sandy is very gentle and sweet and loves to play with other dogs
(especially her boyfriend Bowser!). Let's not talk about cats though!
While my parents were alive I took her to the nursing home to visit them
every week and of course all the residents enjoyed her. She loved it as
she got lots of treats - "do you want to visit grandma and grandpa"
resulted in her licking her lips and heading for the door! She is smart,
as well as beautiful!
