This
is our little Fairway. She joined us two years ago when we adopted
her from our local animal control agency. She was so thin, flea ridden
and generally pitiful - yet we saw a real beauty that needed a home. Our
three year old lab, Bogey, needed a buddy to discourage him from jumping our
fence while we were at work. It was a success! It took months for her to
trust us - but patience and love paid off. She is sweet and gentle lady.
She does not like to play with toys, rather she is content to lay on the
lawn and have her tummy rubbed. Watching the neighborhood from the front
yard is a favorite treat. Our little hunter seeks mice and rats in the
field behind our home and can be seen jumping around like a deer during
her merry chase. Fairway eagerly waits for the morning walk and hardly
lets me put on my shoes she is so excited. We can't imagine our lives
without her and are thankful for her every day. Thank you for your
