This
is our new puppy, Hannah (aka "Hannah The Handful"), a smooth
coated Jack Russell Terrier. Hannah's grandfather on her mother's side
was the dog in the movie "Mask" with Jim Carrey. Her father, Spike,
competed in Tunnel Quest on Animal Planet. Her breeding is
excellent, and therefore, makes her very special for her breed. But
putting her breeding aside, Hannah is special to us because of her
incredible intelligence and personality. Her goal in the morning after
her breakfast is to spend it annoying our two Siamese cats. Daytime is
spent outside in the yard with her nose to the ground tracking whatever
it is she thinks she smells. In the evening, before retiring to her
crate, she devotes her time to chewing on her chew bone, in my lap,
while I hold the bone for her, of course. In between all that time, she
manages to irritate our eight-year-old Maltese by insisting that they
play!! When she wants to show affection toward us, she puts her nose
between our chin and neck and snorts. Soon, after she gets her next
round of shots, she can go for walks and hikes in the hills where we
live, and hopefully, that will take care of some of the abundance of
energy that she has. We are so pleased to have Hannah as part of our
family. And I ask you, "How could you not love that face?
