Hello!
My name is Tara! I am special because I was rescued twice by my
current human companion. I was originally given up at the shelter with my
mother and the rest of my siblings for raiding a hen house. I lived with
my companion for 1.5 years and then sadly my companion could not keep
me, so I stayed with a friend who gave me away to these nasty people who
tied me up in the heat in a tiny back yard. One day I escaped and was
caught by animal control. I was put in the shelter until I was suddenly
recognized by the sister of my companion. Next thing I know, my
companion has bailed me out of jail! I now live in a lovely house with a
younger brother Toby and a sister, Sasha. I also live with three cats
that I love to chase on occasion! The aquarium fish don't bother me. I
also have a knack for burrowing under covers and resting my head on my
companions neck!! Sometimes my mom calls me Bear as a nickname because
when I growl I sound like a bear attack about to happen. But I am kind
to my mom and I do okay with Toby and Sasha - it's the UPS man that
drives me wild!
