My
name is Louis and I am a German Wire Haired Pointer living in Canada.
I was a rescued by my people, Ben and Irene, who have made me into a new
man. I am slowly getting them trained to obey my every wish, but it has
been a long haul. I am very partial to Genoa Salami Sandwiches for lunch
which I sometimes share.
I love to cuddle with my humans, but tend to be a trifle aloof with
others even when I know them very well. I am beautifully trained
naturally, it's just that sometimes when those squirrels tantalize me
beyond endurance I just have to run after them. For some reason this
seems to annoy my humans though I always come back... eventually.
They also feel the same way about my swimming in the goose and duck
feces infested pond that is in my exercise park. Something about the
smell - I actually find it quite appealing but they are a little peculiar
about some things. I am exceptionally good at retrieving cookies out of
my Kong. It used to take me a long time but I find if you squeeze it
verry hard between your teeth and turn it upside down the cookie slides
out very easily.
