This
is Sampson. We call him Beef, and he is an English Bulldog. He
lives with his loving family in Burlington, NJ. Beef is spoiled! He
thinks he's the man of the house but I guess we treat him like he is.
He's also a big baby when he wants something and so stubborn when he
doesn't. He has the best personality!
Sampson is sooo funny. If you know anything about bulldogs, you know
that they can be clowns. He most certainly is. He keeps us laughing all
the time! We love him! Sampson is very affectionate (when he wants to
be). He will come sit right on your lap (he just has to sit there) and
nudge your arm with his nose, when he wants you to pet him. It always
seems like the big or heavy dogs think they are "lap" dogs. The only
trick he knows is "shake." Other than that, I think he's just to
stubborn to learn anything else. We actually attempted to teach him
basketball once. We have a small hoop about his height, and we tried to
get him to put the ball in the hoop. Needless to say, that just wasn't
happening. He also does this weird thing... we have patio furniture
outside, well, if you can call it that. We have four resin chairs that sit
around a table. Sampson always moves them out to the yard. He used to
make forts by putting two of them together. Then, he would just sit
under them. If we go out to collect the chairs from the yard and put
them all but around the table, he gets mad. He will quickly start
dragging them out to the yard again. Really weird! His favorite toys
(right now) are his Jolly Ball, his little piggy and his Airdog. He is the best!
