Introducing
Spock Jones Davdison! We found Spock at the Oakland, CA SPCA
shelter and fell in love with him. He is now a part of our family and
living with us in Castro Valley, CA. As for why he is special... well,
his ears of course. Spock attracts everyone by flapping and flopping
his ears around! We hope you enjoy his ears as much as we do! Spock
was at a local animal shelter hiding in the far corner of his kennel
when we found him. It was "ears at first sight" with him and we couldn't
resist his shyness and puppy dog look on a spontaneous trip to the local
animal shelter two months ago. After a nice bath and some time to warm
up to us, Spock decided that we would be a great for him.
Spock is so loving, protective and wants to be loved and a part of our
family so much that he use to bite us in the butt when my husband and I
would hug each other (which was cute but painful at times). Spock knows
how to please people and have them eating out of the palm of his paw.
Most people cannot resist his big ears and how one of them flops over
while the other one is erect. I guess he only has enough energy to hold
one up most of the time! Spock can crawl, sit, bow, give paw, lay down,
high five, and stay. It is hard to explain but half of the tricks he
learned on his own and in a day or two. We think that is part of his
"plan" to charm us into giving him attention and treats. Every day is an
adventure with Spock. The best is when we come home and Spock would wag
his pom pom of a tail (someone clipped it) at us and roll onto
his back to welcome us home.
