Zara
was adopted from a local Greyhound rescue organization. She was a
racer in Plainfield, CT and soon became too slow. They decided to put
her up for adoption and that's how she found her way to us. She is the
most wonderful dog we have ever met! She not only loves everyone, but
she always aims to please - she does have a naughty side too but that is
another part of her personality that we love! She knows she's beautiful
and has the confidence to go with it. She is totally spoiled with her
two beds, two coats, one sweater, four collars, stuffies, bones, and
treats! She is living the life and shows her appreciation every day. She
even shares her toys with her brother Quincy, who was also adopted from
the Plainfield Track.
Zara was only adopted one year ago but she acts like she has lived with
us forever. Every day she does something new and makes us smile! She has
the typical Greyhound characteristics - sleeps all day, hardly
barks, is very docile, and is forever grateful for the life we have
given her! Zara is a wonderful dog and we couldn't have asked for a
better companion!
