This
is my Haley-pie. Haley is a Basset Hound and turned two years old
in October. We live in Fort Collins, Colorado. Haley is a very special
dog in the fact that she is the sweetest, most loving soul I have ever
met. She is a very playful dog, spending her days in our huge back yard
playing with her friend Maggie (a Newfoundland of the same age) chasing
each other around the garden and trying to catch squirrels that tease
them from the tall Elm trees. She loves to go for rides in the car and
stick her head out the window, which makes for a hilarious sight as her
ears and lips flap in the wind. She loves to sit on the sofa with me
and my roommate and thinks she is a lap dog (even though she is 60
pounds) and makes a terrific bed warmer each night (although she does
try to hog the bed and put her head on my pillow!). She is quite a
character and I can't imagine my life without her. She is just too
precious to keep to myself so I wanted to share her with you.
