Here
is my very best friend Scout. I chose her from the Humane Society
when she was five months old, and ever since then, she and I have been
inseparable! She is my little shadow, as everywhere I go, she is right
at my heals. Her favorite activities are to go rollerblading with me,
running, rolling in the grass beneath the warm sunlight, and going for
rides in the car to get a new toy or an ice cream cone. She also loves
to dig like crazy in the back yard and zoom around from one side of the
fence to the other playing "tag" with my dad and me. At night, she and I
fight over who gets to sleep on the pillow, and even though I always go
to sleep feeling victorious, every morning when I wake up, she's laying
peacefully with her head resting on my pillow. She is quite a character,
and I love her so much! She got her name from Harper Lee's novel "To
Kill A Mockingbird," as she's so full of spunk just like the character.
I don't quite know what I would do without Scout, but thankfully I won't
have to find out for a long, long time!
