We
adopted Jaid when she was ten weeks old. Her eyes were a beautiful
green, which is how she got her name. We had never been around an
American Pit Bull Terrier before and were a little apprehensive, so we
began researching the breed. We found that they are very misunderstood,
and if raised right, could be the sweetest, most loyal dog one could
find! Jaid has been such a joy to us that it is difficult to imagine
life without her. She is always there to give lots of big, wet kisses to
anyone who will let her. She's always wanting to go out for an adventure
and even holds a pretty good "conversation!" Jaid loves to sunbathe most
of the day, and her belly often becomes very tan. She enjoys chasing
balls, chewing on bones, and eating pretty much anything. So the next
time you happen to see a smiling, waggy-tailed American Pit Bull
Terrier, smile back and say HI!
