My
beagle Olive came to us on the fourth of July last year, hence her
middle name is Libby, short for Liberty. She is pictured here
being very patriotic in her flag bandana when she was four months old.
She loves the good ol' stars and stripes! So much so that when she sees
the flag, she sings to us!
Yes, she loves to sing, or howl and will do it almost any time anywhere.
She always has something important to say and makes sure that we
listen! Olive is a spunky little gal that keeps my husband and me on
our toes! Her favorite game is tug-of-war and she is so smart! She has
almost learned how to open the back door by jumping on top of the chair
and turning the doorknob with her mouth! She is attending her first
puppy class tonight, and she is already ahead of her class, because she
learned last night to sit in one hour! She is super friendly and has
already made herself the talk of the neighborhood. All the kids want to
come play with "Ollie" as they call her. Other nicknames for her are
Poo Bear, Sugarnut and Snugglebunny because she loves to snuggle in with
us at night. She sleeps under the covers and even between the two of
us! My husband John and I will one day have children, but for now,
Olive is our little girl and we wouldn't trade her for the world!
