My
name is Jenna or as Mommy calls me "Wild Child". I love to pose for
the camera as you can see by my pictures. My Mom thinks I'm so beautiful
that I should be a Doggie Supermodel. I enjoy exploring everything with
my nose, especially grocery bags. That's where I grabbed the box of
Animal Crackers. I figured since I'm an animal, these crackers were for
me, right? I also have webbed feet and love the water. Anytime I find a
puddle, I love to roll around in the mud and get really dirty. My Mom
pretends she's mad at me but Dad laughs and says bad dogs are funny
dogs. I don't even mind getting a bath once I'm done!
I came to live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan when my parents
adopted me from Planned Pethood
after their beloved Springer Spaniel went to doggie heaven. My Foster Mom
told them such wonderful things about me that they drove over 400 miles
each way to meet me. It was love at first sight for all of us. I love my
new home but I'm trying to get used to a few things like over 300 inches
of snow they get here every winter. It gets so deep my Daddy has to snow
plow special paths so I can go potty without sinking! The other thing I'm
learning is how to be nice to the cat. She always picks on me just when
Mommy comes into the room so I'm the one who gets in trouble.
When it's bird season here, I have to get ready to go hunting. According
to my Daddy, I'm a good bird dog. I don't know what that means but I love
to sniff out grouse and woodcock in the forest. He gets very happy when I
point them out for him. Thanks for letting me tell my story!
Love - Jenna
