Maggielee
has grown up with lots of kids around, and sometimes forgets
that she isn't one, herself. She's affectionate, and has a super
disposition. Maggielee was specially chosen for her disposition with
children. She grew up with not only three children, but also a home day
care. Even if a toddler accidently hurt her, she'd never nip or
growl, ever. She is very sociable and hates being alone. If that
happens, you'll hear the traditional sad howl of the Bassett Hound.
Maggielee loves playing tag with the kids in the back yard, and doesn't
mind if she's always "it." In the summer, she loves being sociable,
lying by the pool... or running around the deck. However, she is
careful not to fall in. (She is not a good swimmer.) Her funniest trick
is what we call "sitting pretty." For a treat, she will sit upright on
her hind-end, and her paws up, almost like a little toy poodle. Being a
55 pound stout kind of gal, this isn't an easy feat, lemme tell you.
