This
is a picture of my dog Chloe. She is a Yellow Lab who lives with
her mom and two (dog) brothers in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I adopted Chloe from
my local Lab Rescue at the age of five months. Chloe came to join her two
thirteen-year-old Lab/Airedale brothers, Spanky and Petey. She had not had
much socialization at that point, and would cringe when anyone would
pass by us on our walks in the park. We just kept taking walks together
and little by little she watched her brothers and her confidence grew.
Pretty soon she was off on runs with me - and now she runs with me all
the time. Chloe has done so well that she was able to participate in our
local Christmas parade - marching bands and all. She is my little angel
- the other night I woke up in pain from a tooth extraction and she put
her face up against mine and nuzzled me until I went to sleep. She's a
wonderful addition to the family - she annoys her brothers just like a
good little sister should, and enjoys cleaning their ears for them,
which they seem to enjoy. I can't imagine life without her.
