Casey
has moved around a lot in her short life. She was purchased from a
pet store in West Virginia. Then she went into foster care in Maryland
with Basenji Rescue and Transport before being adopted by a lovely
family in Tennessee with a male Basenji playmate. Unfortunately, Casey
is an alpha dog and wasn't satisfied with bossing her boy around. She
bit him and left him with scars, so she had to be put up for adoption
again. Now she is the only dog in the house, where she is the resident
goddess. Her alpha tendencies come out once in a while, but she's
learning to be part of the team: eight-year-old boy, two leopard geckos and
two cats.
