Hi,
my name is Lady. My owners think that is a pretty name, but I think
it's stupid. I am seven years old and I don't want to get any older! My
family says I'm in very good shape. I weigh 75 pounds and I am a female.
I love to bark all the time. Every day my family feeds me a nice meal of
Pedigree Dog Food in water. It tastes very good when you put it in
water, even though it may sound weird. They also add in a package of
Pedigree Little Champions, just so it tastes a little better. I never
know what flavor I'm going to get! I can do lots of tricks, but I'm too
shy to go to a dog show and perform them. I can catch a football in the
air, catch a frisbee in the air, beg, sit, lay down, heel, stay, stand,
lick people (I don't really know if that's a trick, but it is to me! It
takes a lot to lick humans. They taste funny!). I know how to do a lot
more stuff, but I see a squirrel nearby. Bye!
Lady is a very special dog. She lives with my parents and I. She loves
to ride in the car and stick her head out the window and bark at passing
cars. I love to play with her, except she is a hog! When the frisbee is
thrown at her, she will take it and run away, leading me into a
ten-minute game of "catch the frisbee". Another thing is she will
basically eat anything. She loves to run under the table after dinner
and lick everything off of the floor! During Thanksgiving and other
occasions, I will often sneak some food away from my plate and throw it
to her. Lady doesn't get along with other pets either. She will bark
and run after Sally, the cat. Lady is a great guard dog, and will bark
if even we come in the house!! She has found a way to get out of the
yard, and my neighbors call her the "terror of the neighborhood." She
loves to jump on people, but not meaning to hurt them. She looks like a
big tough dog, but on the inside she is a big sweetie, and that is why
over the years I have learned to gain her trust, and we became closer
than anyone else. Lady is the greatest dog I could ever have, and I
wouldn't trade her for any other animal in the world.
