This
is Doodlebug. "Doodie" (her nickname) is very spoiled and
protective, whether it's over her toys, her food, or her "momma."
Everyone she meets, falls in love with her - she's truly a special
girl...
A few words from Doodie herself -
"Hi, I'm Doodie. I live in a big house with my momma, where I am the
only dog. Did I just say "dog?" What was I thinking... anyway, we
have a lot of birds who live with us, I think our last count was around
35. Momma loves those silly birdies, but as for me - I don't like 'em
much. I chase them when I can. They are loud, they all talk a lot and
sound like my momma!! She taught them to say "What's the dog say?
"arf*arf*" How cute is that?
I remember when I first met my momma... I was in a brown box, and when
I looked up at her, I knew that she would love me forever... I was
right!!! I'm eight years old now, but me and momma don't like to act our
age... I act like I'm about two, and momma acts like she's... well...
I better just leave that one alone...
I love going bye-bye!! Me and momma sometimes travel out of state,
visiting family... it's great!! I get to ride in the front seat, eat
snacks and look out the window!! I love it! I get soooo excited when I
get to go bye-bye, that sometimes I run right into the car door - before
it's open... momma laughs at me... I'm so funny... One thing I don't
like - is going to the groomer!! Argh!! I do behave when I'm there, but
I don't like it one bit! And those dumb scarves they try to put around
my neck - ugh... get them off me!! But my doggy doctor is nice. I like
her. She makes me feel better when my back hurts. And when it's time for
those shots... my momma just holds me tight - and snap... it's
over!!!
I love being outside!! I chase the squirrels all over the place! Once in
awhile, I'll sneak over to the neighbors yard... but, I get in trouble!
I like laying out in the sun... just chillin... I'm not too crazy
about bad weather though. When it thunders, it scares me! But, momma
makes it all better... I have a good life... me and momma snuggle up
on the couch, we watch TV together and some say we snore alike... So, I
think I'll stick around for a while, someone has to keep an eye on
momma!"
