I
adopted Christopher from the local shelter after seeing him on their
TV show with the warning that he was to be euthanized on Friday if not
adopted. Something just clicked when I saw him and I went down the next
morning. Chris (or Chrissy-butt, or Wiggle-butt) has been with us for seven
great years. He loves the succession of cats that have come through our
home, and some of them have loved him! I had never owned a small dog
before, having always had large mutts, but now I'm hooked! Christopher
loves everyone he meets, and brings a smile to everyone's face. One
strange thing is that lots of people who see him remark that they once
had a dog that looked just like him! He must be the quintessential
"generic dog." We've never figured out his heritage, but guess he is
some sort of Chihuahua-Corgi mix. We named him Christopher because we
adopted him at Christmas time. If you are looking for a pet this
Christmas, or any other time, please go to your local shelter first.
