Hershey
was adopted from Morgan County, WV, Humane Society. Though
Hershey came to us only a short time ago, he has carved his place in our
family and in our hearts. From the hour-and-a-half ride home from the
shelter, I knew that this was a special dog. He literally hugged my hand
with his paws the whole way home. Carefully, he plays with my children
like he has been with them for ever. Like his famous look-a-like Benji,
Hershey is quite clever and has quickly learned several tricks - earning
him an abundance of love and treats. Above all else, when I am
frustrated and a little blue, he hops up on my lap, puts one paw on each
of my shoulders and plants a huge kiss on my nose. I can't help but smile.
