Hi,
this is Aspen, a Siberian Husky living in southern Minnesota.
Minnesota winters are Aspen's favorite season. He loves to go for long
walks, we call them expeditions, in the fields and wooded areas near our
home. When there is enough snow we take out the sled and attempt to do
what sled dogs are bred to do but it doesn't always work the way it is
supposed to work - especially when a deer or rabbit is nearby. When there
is no snow, we use a bicycle to provide the vigorous exercise these dogs
require on a daily basis. Aspen loves small children and always loves it
when they come to see him. His best friend is a Lab named Kitsa that
lives next door. they get together several times a week for a romp in
Kitsa's back yard. Siberians are known for the unique way they
communicate and Aspen certainly models that behavior. He makes all kinds
of different howls, growls, and noises that make you think there is
definitely something he is trying to say. He's an interesting dog, a lot
of work but worth every bit of it.
