Our
golden retriever's name is Buddy. Buddy and my family live in South
Park, Pennsylvania. He has been a highlight to our family for the
year he's been with us. We got him for Christmas for my mother last
year. My mom had always wanted a Golden Retriever, so we decided to make
her wish come true. My dad and I went to a breeder and "Buddy" just so
happened to be the last one left. And the goofiest! He was the only
puppy out of the other twelve to go to his daddy for milk instead of his
mommy! And he was the only one who couldn't walk well like the others.
But, we fell in love with him anyways and decided to take him home for
my mom, for sure.
Buddy is a very outgoing, fun-loving dog. He has a lot of personality
traits that not many dogs have. For instance, every time something new
comes in to the house, or every time he spots something new, he goes
crazy. He barks at it for at least five minutes and sometimes runs away.
It's very funny to see. It makes my family and I laugh very hard. I
guess it's something you have to see. :) Buddy also loves people. He
loves to play with them more than anything. He could play forever. And
he's so loving, he will just lay on your foot or your lap for as long as
you desire. And another interesting trait about Buddy is, he is afraid
of our cat! Buddy is the latest addition to our family and we love him
so much. If he was a person, every one would love him and wanna be his
best friend. He sure is the definition of a perfect dog for us. And he
sure is our "buddy for life!" :)
