Mickey,
my constant companion, is a twelve-year-old Dalmatian that
thinks he is still a puppy. He loves to go for walks with me and he
like to sleep under the covers in the waterbed with me at night. He has
a special seat in the truck so he can always travel with me. Mickey is
a very affectionate dog. He is also very protective of me. He gets
between me and anyone new to him - If he likes that person he wags his
tail. Sometimes he decides that someone is not right and the hair on his
back comes up and he bares his teeth and growls, letting that person
know they need to leave.
Mickey almost never leaves my side. When it is time for him to eat he
goes to the closet door and paws at the door-when I open the door to the
closet door he head butts his food container until I get his food out.
He does sit on command shakes hands and sometimes lays down and plays
dead dog. In short Mickey is the best dog that I have ever had.
