Heide
was six and a half weeks old when I took this picture. The first thing she
did when I brought her home was grab that stuffed toy and lay down
beside it. I got her because we had had another Shepherd/Collie mix
named Cody that we got when she was one year old. Cody passed away when
she was thirteen and it was a very sad day in my life. Heide has helped us
heal. Heide loves stuffed toys and drags them all over the house and
also likes to pick up a rubber ball, drop it then chase it. She also
loves to chase her big brother Nick out in the yard (Nick is a
ten-year-old Brittany I have had since he was seven weeks old and he has
always been my baby). Heide is already deeply loved and knows it. I
can't keep from spoiling my babies rotten - look at that face - could
you deny her anything?
