Jack
is very special as we got him from an animal sanctuary. He had been
there for six months, when we found him, he had a few problems. He kept
chewing his own legs, and didn't like people coming towards him to
stroke his head. They said there was no history on him, but we took him
home anyway. We have had him for just over three and a half years now and he
is a very loving, friendly family pet.
Jack has a lovely personality, he never makes the first move towards
another dog but is always friendly when they come to say 'hello' to him.
His very favorite pastime is playing catch, he likes to chase after a
ball but best he likes the ball thrown in the air for him to catch. If
we are sitting outside and you tell him you can't reach the ball he will
put it on the seat next to you. Last Sunday we had a new Border Collie
pup come to live with us, she is seven weeks old now and Jack seems to think
he is her Mother, he is so good with her. When she has been to the
toilet he pushes her over and cleans her. We were a bit worried bringing
her home, as we had no idea how he was going to react to her but he is
Brilliant as he is in all things.
