Millie
was born on September 11, 1999 in Phoenix, Arizona. I received
her for a Christmas gift when I was eleven years old. Although she is a
Jack Russell Terrier, she has no distinguishable markings, just a few
small marks on each ear.
In February of 2002 Millie developed the symptoms of bone cancer. She
was taken to the veterinary hospital in Fort Collins, Colorado where a
biopsy was performed on her right hip. It took a few months but she
finally recovered from the surgery. She still had a few pains and
problems but we finally took her off her last kind of medicine late in
the year. It has been a year from Millie�s surgery and she seems to be
doing fine. She is a perky and very fun dog to be around. She had
endless energy and loves to bark. When she was young we even taught her
to ring a bell when she needed to go outside to be relieved. I think
what makes Millie special is the fact that she recovered from cancer and
most of all how much fun she is to be around.
