Allie
is an amazing Golden Retriever and a pleasure to have around! She
is truly a child trapped inside a dog's body!!! One must possess much
energy to keep up with her - she can sometimes even give the kids a run
for their money. She can be taught just about anything as long as you
have a biscuit in your back pocket. She obeys commands such as sit,
stay, lay, up, down, speak, just to name a few. When you tell her to
turn-around, she will keep turning until you say the word "stop"! That
is our show stopper!
If Allie was a child, she would be a tom-boy, rough and rugged but also
has her girlish qualities. She can be sensitive at times when she's
scolded or if you tell her to chill out!! Allie has her own toy box and
loves to play with all of her toys especially when sharing them with
Christopher and Louis, her human brothers! Allie is not a loud dog. She
will sometimes look at her little Poodle friends next door like they are
nuts when they go off on their barking rampage!!!! She will however bark
if there is potential danger or perhaps an intruder. Allie's favorite
food is popcorn. She loves to sit down and watch a movie with the
children and waits for some to drop on the floor... and it always
does!!!! At this moment, as I sit and read this a loud to the family,
she has her head on my lap because she knows we're all talking about
just how special she is!!!
