This
is my auntie's puppy Daisy. As the picture suggests she is coy but
secretly plotting something at all times (often the unceremonious nipping
of one of our ankles!) She is adorable but yes, has inherited that
distinctly cattle dog trait that is quite welcome on a cattle station
but no so much in the domestic home - ankle nipping. She is however,
attending regular puppy classes to be socialized and hopefully trained
out of this particular habit as much as possible! Her worth beyond this
is immeasurable, she is (generally) quite a well behaved puppy and brings
her 'mum' endless laughs, puppy cuddles and general happiness as all
dogs do. She is a very special girl who I am looking forward to
babysitting in a few weeks (the hunt for dog friendly beaches has
begun!) For these and a myriad of other reasons I think little Daisy
bear deserves to be honored!
