Misty
is the Yellow Lab, Shepherd mix. She is four years old and loves
to ride in the car with her head out the window. She has learned how to
balance quite well by putting her front paws on the door handle and her
rear on the back of the seat. Misty also needs to have a walk every
morning or she pouts. Misty knows a lot of words, like "ride", "walk", "bath."
Jamaica is the Black Lab, Rottweiler mix. She is three years old and
loves to chase tennis balls. She is very fast and agile and will chase
balls and bring them back, and drop it when you tell her "drop it."
Jamaica also likes to ride in the car and fortunately got over her car
sicknesses as a puppy. Jamaica loves to chase birds.
Misty and Jamaica are best friends and live on the same street. They
hang out together during the day while their moms are working or running
errands. They are wonderful companions... they run to the door when we
say, "who's here?" to check it out. They stop and cock their heads when
we say "listen..." When the doorbell rings on TV, they run to the front
door to see who it is.
Misty and Jamaica live in Keller, outside of Fort Worth, Texas. Both of
these gems are rescue dogs from a nonprofit pet rescue organization.
