Phoebe
Jane was given to us last December when
she was six weeks old. She is special because she is deaf, but being deaf
hasn't slowed her down. She is very smart and has learned many hand
commands. Her favorite hand command is the command for "cookie", which
by the way gets her to come when we want her to! She has also learned
the commands for sit, shake (paws), down, high five, rollover, and much
more. We reward her by giving her cheerios. She is also a very loving
and sweet puppy who never meets a stranger. She will give kisses to
whoever will accept them.
Phoebe has another side too. One that likes to get into everything! Her
most recent incident was falling into a well in one of our attic spaces,
from which she had to be rescued. One day she pranced into the living
room with a steak knife in her mouth that she had gotten out of the
dishwasher. Another time, she got a drinking glass off of a table and
proceeded to chew on it. She definitely keeps us on our toes.
Phoebe's favorite toys are stuffed animals, she loves to rip the
stuffing out of them. She also loves playing tug with us and her
companion, Libby, who is also a Boston Terrier. We call her our true
blue Boston Terrorist!!! We love her high spiritedness and couldn't
imagine life without her!
