This
is my dog, Kira. She is two years old and still loves to run around
inside or out. She loves to play with any type of toy. Her favorite is
a ball. She has at least five, two being soccer balls. Kira is always
trying to steal my boys' soccer balls, too.
I got Kira the day I left my last job and she has been following me
around ever since. I can't even get up from the couch to walk ten feet
without her at my heels.
Kira does have one trick. When she is offered a treat she is to sit and
be nice and then she will say, "Please." All I have to do is say, "What
do you say?", or "Kira, say please," and she says please (barks). What
is really funny about Kira is that if she has to wait too long for any
type of food she drools. I was making steak for supper one night and I
looked over at her and it looked as if she swallowed a shoe - she was
dripping out of both sides of her mouth. She looked like Hooch from
Turner and Hooch. Sometime she will drool when asked, for a treat though.
Kira also likes to play Hide-N-Seek. I will hide her toys and she will
find them. Granted sometimes it takes a while but she does find them.
Kira is somewhat independent but when she wants mommy she is right
there. She is an inside dog but will play outside for hours by herself
with her soccer ball. It also amazes me that she knows when it is 7:00
p.m. This is the time she eats supper. It doesn't matter where she is
at 6:59, at 7:00 she will come in the kitchen and stand by the pantry
door and wait to be fed! Smart girl!
