Twiggy,
(Fursdon Twylyte Tramontano BH CDex UDex WDex TDex) is the most
qualified Weimaraner in the UK. She has been the Weimaraner
Association's Top Dog and Best All Round Longhair for two consecutive
years and was the first Weimaraner in the UK to achieve the BH in
Schutzhund. She has passed the Bronze, Silver and Gold Good Citizen's
Test and is a registered PAT (Pets as Therapy) Dog, visiting a mentally
handicapped lady once every fortnight.
As well as her Working Trial qualifications Twiggy has also been placed
in agility tests, a gundog test of work and the show ring, getting a 4th
place at Crufts. In May she took part in Superdog 2004 which is a
competition restricted to 10 dogs from the UK and consists of seventeen
separate exercises taken from Working Trials, Agility and Obedience;
again she is the first Weimaraner to have been selected to take part in
this annual competition.
Most important of all she is a great companion and foot warmer!
