Henry
is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I take him to shows where he
does very well, but of course his main job in life is to cuddle up to me
on the sofa and lick my nose. He loves going out for walks, and is
extremely friendly. In fact he is so friendly and fearless that I often
find he has disappeared to go and play with a German Shepherd or
Staffordshire bull terrier, without any thought about whether they are
friendly. Fortunately they usually are!
Henry is a very attentive and loving dog, and if we shut him in the
kitchen while we eat he will whimper until we are reunited again, and he
then jumps straight onto the sofa and curls up with me again! He has a
"brother," George, a Cocker Spaniel. We all live in London, and they are
my first ever dogs. We got two at once so they could keep each other
company, and they keep us company very well, too.
