The
people at the pound told me Levi was picked up by the Police and I'm
sure he just jumped into their car. He loves the car and loves going
everywhere with me. He is very "conversational" and while his growly
bark sounds ferocious, he's very sweet with me and with other dogs. He
can be outdoorsy, but prefers to be pampered. And when he crosses his
paws, he looks so dignified.
Levi is a mama's dog. He's very affectionate, shadowing me all over the
house and wanting to be in my lap. That's probably partly due to
the herding Border Collie trait too. When he goes to a new place he
checks out the perimeter before socializing. That, and his black and
white markings make me sometimes call him a little police-dog. He's
somewhat on the goofy side too, rolling around on his back growling and
squawking when he wants attention, and eating things off the patio like
sticks, and bugs and even rocks. He's a mutt with manners.
