Sophie
was a stray picked up by the pound and rescued by Chihuahua
Rescue. She is a large size chihuahua, about ten pounds. She's crazy
about all her toys and can play till we get tired ! Food is about the
only thing that beats toys. She'll come running for a treat. Not having
pets for a number of years we weren't sure if it would work out. But
Sophie is a delight and brings such enjoyment to our life that we don't
know what we would do without her! She's not much for other dogs and
will generally avoid them if we are out for a walk. But she seems
interested in people and gets along with anyone who comes to our house (
after she lets them know that she is the resident watch dog! ) She's a
very special girl who had a hard time but with the help of a lady who
really cares for these little dogs, she's become an important part of
our family. We've had her for just about a year now, and look forward
to the years to come.
