I
adopted Colby from the local animal shelter a year ago. He looked so
sad sitting in the cage, and I couldn't resist taking him home! He has
been a blessing ever since that day (so much so that I call him my
angel)! He is such a loving dog and loves to give his mommy kisses,
hugs, and snuggles all the time. He craves attention and will do almost
anything to get it, like stand right in front of me and roll on his
back, rest his face on my face or shoulder, or sing his little
"attention" song, which also include a huge yawn of boredom! He's also
is very protective of me and will sit on my lap if anyone comes over to
the house! When we go on our walks, Colby thinks that he is a little
explorer and l will walk in the tall grass to see what treasures he can find!
Although he is technically a mutt, Colby is such a beautiful dog as
well. We get stopped everyday on our walks by complete strangers and
are told that he is the best looking dog they have ever seen. Of
course, that is not a surprise to me! He is without a doubt the
greatest dog I could have ever asked for and consider myself very
fortunate to be blessed with my angel, Colby!
