This
is Precious, she's a Japanese Chin, and the flower, I caught her
biting it. She's six and a half months old in the picture, but is a year old now.
My husband, Pee Wee, eats breakfast out every morning and brings
Precious back a piece of cooked bacon. If she gets out of bed before he
returns, she runs and jumps in bed with me and licks my ears and plays
with my hair until I get up. When she hears the car pulling in the
driveway. She runs to the door and howls at him until she gets her
bacon. After her bacon, she eats her breakfast.
Precious has a great personality and loves to play with children and
other dogs. She scares most dogs away by laying her front paws on the
ground with her rear end up and when they come near her she leaps on
them. She knows what "bye-bye" means and has to go for a ride whenever
we are going somewhere. She knows when I get dressed and pick up my
purse, she needs to go somewhere!
She is in Obedience training at this time and has learned to sit, lay
and stay with hand signs and a clicker. Her treats are bits of bacon.
Precious was in a Christmas parade in December and was the star of
the show. She rode in our Corvette and wore her Santa's outfit.
Precious has a rabbit with a small ball on the back of it and she puts
it between her front paws and pulls the string. The rabbit vibrates!
She continues to pull the string several times in a row. We love her
very much and it has been such a joy to have her. She plays with squeaky
toys and continues to squeak them about ten times in a row. She fetches
her toys and wants us to throw them for her and she can speak on demand.
She chased a spider on the patio this summer and had it between her
front paws. I just happened to see her and yelled her name. She let it
go and jumped on it again. I ran out and said "No Baby!" She let go
again and he went up the wall. I brought her in the house.
Precious is a real smart little girl! She doesn't bark much, except to
go outside. One her favorite things to do, is when she is full, she
tries to bury her snacks under the cushions on the couch. She has two
kitten friends, Sylvester and Oliver. She loves to play with them. The
kittens are the same age of Precious. We have cattle behind our house.
Precious tries to be brave! She sits at the fence and waits for them to
walk by and runs inside the sliding glass door. She turns around and
barks at them from inside the house.
