Meet
Maya the beagle. Now she may not be a purebred beagle, however
when she was a young pup, she sure looked like one. I believe she's part
fox-hound and part beagle. We are particularly fond of this picture due
to the fact that this is one of the very few times she's not a 'wound
hound'. She is a very energetic, happy little puppy whom has a pretty
great little life, getting walks every day, taken to our local
'puppy-park' weekly if not daily, and hours and hours of attention (what
a spoiled little girl!). she is a very intellectual dog, picking up
things very quickly in terms of training (not sure if this is the case
with most beagles or not). She has been trained to bring over her bowl
when it's time for feeding, she knows many words and what they mean. And
she's not done yet! She is an amazing little dog.
Maya will always and forever be special to myself and my girlfriend due
to the fact they she is the first pet that we've had that is both of
ours. She is the first pet we've shared, and for the first time we could
really call ourselves somewhat of a family, instead of being a couple.
To anyone reading this note whom does not have a dog or a cat, please
consider it as an option if you can. There are thousands of happy little
animals waiting to love someone like yourself. We purchased Maya from
the humane society of PEI and she has been nothing short of amazing to us.
