Maya
was at a rescue and through two other homes before we adopted her
in January of this year. When we met her, it was love at first sight.
She laid on her back for a belly rub and immediately showered us with
kisses. We knew this was the dog for us.
Since we have had our baby, she has proven to be the best dog! Maya just
loves to play! She acts just like a puppy when you throw her ball or
give her a rawhide bone. She would also much rather wrestle with us than
another dog - she gets her paws batting and talks ... it is so much fun!
Maya has become my faithful driving partner - she loves to go for car
rides. She has also proven to be my guardian when I am home alone which
was unexpected. Maya loves to relax with us at night and watch TV with
us or lay in the corner. We've decided that since Maya had a tough life
before she came here, she deserves to be spoiled rotten! She even has
her own human bed! She has become our angel, our big puppy, and our
beloved family member - we don't know what we'd do without our Princess!
