Sissi
is a very kind and very affectionate dog. She is always close to
me, even at night. She loves to sleep under my feather bed. We met when
she was five months old. My first fox terrier, Olive, had just died. We
needed each other then - and still do. Sissi comes everywhere with me:
to the office, visiting customers, visiting friends and riding.
She loves to come to events; when I am preparing the horse to go in
Eventing, she stays near the truck so as not to stay at the stables. On
the ground she runs and jumps on fences. She is so happy ... Only one
thing is forbidden: if a horse balks, Sissi is totally furious and wants
to bite it! But she knows this is not allowed.
Everybody knows Sissi, and she has a lot of friends: she is definitely a
nice girl, she never fights or growls. She is very sociable and loves
to play with other dogs or with cats. Her best friends are Real, a
golden retriever and Felin, a cat. I can never punish her. Sometimes she
can be a little bit of a rascal, especially with food (she is fond of
everything you can eat!), but I have never been angry with her. How
could I?
We leave in Orleans, in France. Three months ago a new smooth fox puppy
joined us. I wanted to find a friend for Sissi, I think they are happier
when there are two of them. Sissi was a little bit sorry about living
with this puppy during the first week, but they are now best friends.
