Sunny
is a tricolor Border Collie. He shares his life with one-year-old
Skip, a black and white Border Collie. Sunny is well named, as he has a
lovely disposition and is never moody. He loves his walks in the fields
and enjoys watching the sheep through the fence. He is wonderfully
patient with Skip, who is still at the teenaged puppy stage and rather
boisterous. Sunny is more than just a dog, he is a true friend and
companion.
Sunny is a quite laid back for a Border Collie. He is extremely
affectionate and loves curling up on the settee with his head on my lap
in the evenings. He loves playing fetch and will drop a toy at the feet
of any visitors and especially enjoys playing with children. He has a
box of toys and will fetch whichever one you ask for, ring, ball etc. By
the end of the day all the toys are scattered around the house. He
hasn't learnt yet how to put them away! (We are working on that one.)
He gets on very well with my four ponies and they seem to like him too.
He loves trying to get treats out of a kong or treat ball. Most of all,
he loves his walks, he particularly likes running off the lead in the
fields. He is very fast and loves jumping over the log in the field. He
is very obedient and since a small puppy has been very easy to train and
a joy to own.
