Meet
our wonderful and loving son Chewy. February 14, 2003 we brought
Chewy home. He came from a loving family, that just didn't want a dog
anymore. They didn't realize how big he would get, and how much
attention he need. I stay at her house once in a while, and he grew very
attached to me. He cried all the time. So my friend said to take him
home with us. I am glad I did. He is the highlight of my and my
husband's lives. We have no children, so to us he is our child.
Chewy loves to go camping. Especially when he can go swimming in the
lakes. That is his favorite thing to do. Sometimes he will take his
leash and pull you in if you are not paying attention. Loves going for
long walks, and rides in the truck. The funny things that he does, is
getting me up at 3:30am so he can have my spot on the bed, because I
have to go to work for 4:00am. So he thinks on my days off he should
still have the spot. So it's push over mom cause here I come ready or
not. The other thing is he knows who he can beg for food, because he
knows mom will give him some and dad won't. He thinks he can get in the
bath tub when you get in to take a bath.
The special thing about him is he knows when something is not right. I
had surgery not to long ago, and he never left my side. I slept in the
recliner for a couple of nights. He lay right there on top of me to make
sure I didn't move. So he still thinks when I sit in the recliner he has
to be right there too. He is just a blessing in our lives, I could never
ask for a better puppy, than him. He will always be mom's baby, I mean puppy.
