Winnie
is a purebred Scottish Terrier with a brindle coat - yes, that is
possible! Many people think Scotties are only ever black, but they can
come in several other colors as well. We rescued Winnie two years ago
when she had been abandoned for medical reasons. The NY Scottie Rescue
Group took care of her problems, and we got the most loving, intelligent
animal of all the dogs we have ever had.
They say that Scotties have big hearts; Winnie's is the size of the
Internet! She is a great car dog - loves to crawl up and rest her head
between the two front seats. She spends the week in the city and the
weekends in the country where she chases squirrels and rabbits, wagging
her tail so they know she is just playing! And at night, when she curls
up between us on the bed, our hearts melt. She is a very special beastie.
