Here
is my dog Harley. We got him from the shelter when he was nine weeks
old. Someone found him wandering the streets and took him to the
shelter. When I saw him I knew he was the dog for me. He was so cute
and very alert and his big brown eyes told me he needed a home.
Harley loves to eat, eat, eat and eat some more. When we first brought
him home he was very skinny. Now he's just right. We make him homemade
dog food and homemade cookies.
He also loves to play ball. He chases my soccer ball around the yard.
He will also throw a racket or tennis ball for himself and chase after
it. He loves it when a person will throw the ball for him also and will
play until the cows come home.
He hangs out during the day with our handicapped Jack Russell Terrier,
Oblio, who runs sideways. They are great pals and are always together
unless Oblio gets sick of being harassed by a puppy twice his size and
hides under the bed.
Harley is a very needy puppy. We think it is because he was abandoned
when he was little. He is also very loving and is always ready to give
you a kiss.
