I
present Luigi because he is the dog of dogs. He has so much
personality and yet he is very perceptive. Luigi loves to go for walks
in the park and although he is a bulldog, he can go for two mile jogs with
me (but only when it is very cold). He is always content, whether it's
going to the park for hours or just laying around the house.
Stubbornness is a common trait of English bulldogs, but not Luigi. He
always does what I ask of him. He is very smart and has learned many
tricks including High-five, Bye, Paw, Bang, Roll, Dance, Bark, Growl (he
can distinguish between the two), along with the usual sit and down.
But like the breed, he is docile and he gets along with all species and
personalities.
I love Luigi and would do anything for him. I take him everywhere I can
and everyone adores him. He is such a handsome guy that they turn and
look as he passes. I have learned to appreciate him more recently. As
I said before, he is very versatile and although he likes to play a lot,
for the past two years my time has been very limited with veterinary
school and I do not have the time to give him the attention he deserves.
Fortunately he is very good (and doesn't destroy the house) when I'm at
school; and when I get home he just sits on his bed and watches me
study. Dogs can complain by exhibiting behavioral problems, but not
Luigi. He is always content and very laid back. I love him very much
and relish being given this opportunity to brag about him.
