My
son rescued Princess from an abusive home and brought her, with no
advanced notice, to my door step in hopes I would keep her until he
could find a good home for her. One look into her sad little eyes and I
was hooked and immediately feel in love. Of course persuading my husband
when he got home was a whole other story. Princess and I were getting to
know and fall in love with each other when my husband got home.
Upon his arrival "My" Princess attacked him and wouldn't let him come
near me. Persuading my husband to keep her was nearly impossible and
Princess wasn't helping matters. He finally agreed to tolerate her for a
couple of weeks, which was the dead line to have her in a new home or
else she'd go to the pound; End of discussion!. That was over two years
ago. Her endearing personality and protectiveness of me won him over.
Princess will give and take attention from my husband but she'll still
snap at him if he tries to hug or kiss me. She is and will forever be
"My Little Princess".
