This
is Miss Annie. She came to us 3.5 years ago on Thanksgiving day.
She was running stray on my grandparents farm, and when we caught her
she was very thin and malnourished. We tried to find her owners, but to
no avail so with a little pleading my parents brought her home for
me. That is how she got her name, Orphan Annie. As you can see from the
one picture she is a true snack hound. Some of her favorites are cheese
balls, cheese, chips n dip, french fries etc. Basically she likes
anything that won't eat her first.
Although she is now five years old she is still a puppy at heart. She lives
for a good wrestling match on the floor, and playing with her stuffed
hedgehog Buddha. She also enjoys "reading the newspaper." She starts
running around like crazy when she even hears the rattle of a paper. Her
other favorite activities include sleeping, going for walks (or shall I
say taking me for a walk), and going for car rides. If she hears the
words ride, walk, or go she goes insane running around in circles and
jumping up and down. I think the best part about having Annie is that
when you get home at the end of the day she meets you at the door so
happy that her whole body wiggles, jumps up and gives you a hug and kiss.
