Meet
Fiona! She is my first pet, and we are already the best of
friends. Fiona is a lovely smooth-coated black-and-tan who weighed all
of three pounds at four weeks - that's how old she is in the picture. Her
full name is "Dixie's Wonder Woman Fraulein Fiona," and is she ever a
"wonder woman!" Don't let her size fool you ... she is an avid nibbler,
loves to hide under furniture, and enjoys a good rousing battle with her
favorite stuffed dachshund toy. She is a pure-bred miniature dachshund
who moved from her birthplace of Binghamton, NY to Greenwich, CT. She
enjoyed the New England autumn and had a grand time munching on fallen
leaves - much to her owner's dismay. Regardless, she is a pleasure to
come home to at the end of a long day!
